French police intensified their search Tuesday for thieves who stole priceless royal jewels from the Louvre in a daring daylight heist. Sixty investigators are probing whether an organised crime group was behind the raid, during which nine pieces were taken. A diamond-studded crown was later found dropped in Paris streets.
