Is the US-China trade war coming to an end?

The United States and China are moving toward a potential trade agreement, according to US President Donald Trump. Ahead of his meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping on October 30 in South Korea, Trump said the two countries are set to “come away with” a deal. The discussions aim to ease trade tensions that have affected global economic relations, though details of the agreement have not yet been finalised.
