Britain and France are working with Ukraine on plans to end the fighting with Russia, Prime Minister Keir Starmer said Sunday, as European leaders gathered for crisis talks after a blowout between Kyiv and Washington. Citing Starmer’s call for concrete action on achieving a peace deal for Ukraine, FRANCE 24’s Bénédicte Paviot said: “Keir Starmer sees himself as a bridge between London and Washington, between London and Europe”.
